From the Ruins of Athens and the Ancient Greeks to Luxury Villas overlooking pristine coastlines, the diversity of Greece is unparalleled. Greece has many must see tourist destinations, the village of Kyparissi however is a unknown gem. Tucked into an obscure inlet it has been known to be a favorite destination of famous actors, Prince Charles, Presidents such as George Bush, and was the last vacation spot of Princess Diana days before her untimely passing. Kyparissi has maintained its unspoiled charm; the way greek villages were over a hundred years ago. Now lets talk about the climbing. Hidden amongst the small villages and secluded coves lie some of the worlds best stone. Sweeping faces laden with textured tufas and huecos, these picturesque cliffs span vast distances above the Myrtoan Sea.
Dream Trip
From Athens we’ll head straight to the sea. Cruising on a Yacht to our destination instead of hours of winding roads. Cruising in luxury down the Peloponnese coast past empty bays, perfect cliffs and secluded islands will land us in our first destination of Kyparissi. We’ll fall into the rhythm of life here, enjoying an isolated paradise full of natural wonders, delicious food and turquoise waters.
Our next destination finds us in the town of Leonidio. A veritable climbing paradise with walls towering overhead in every direction. This has quickly become one of the best places in the world for climbing regardless of ability level.
Finally we’ll make our way north to Nafplio, a beautiful little beach town in a sheltered bay, climbing with your toes in the sand and majestic sunsets overlooking the Myrtoan Sea.
After exploring the secluded nooks of the Peloponnese we will conclude our journey and cruise back to the ancient city of Athens.
Day 1
Board the elegant Ferretti Yacht at the port of Athens headed for the quiet village of Kyparissi. A winding 5 hour drive becomes a delightful 2 hour cruise by sea.
Upon arrival we will be greeted by one of the most stunning beach crags in Greece. A secluded bay with crystal clear waters and a limestone shelf invite you in for a swim. With walls towering overhead well make our way to shore and enjoy our first taste of Greek Limestone. Afterwards we’ll to Kyparissi by Yacht for dinner and settle in at the hotel.
Day 2
Breath in the fresh air next to lemon trees and olive orchards as you awake in the serene town of Kyparissi. After breakfast we will cruise down the coast to another spectacular beach crag. Cliffs sit right above the turquoise water only a stones throw away. Snorkeling and beach relaxation will be accessible all day as well as incredible climbing right out of the white sand beach.
Day 3
Begin the day exploring one of the local cafes on the picturesque cobbled streets. After a classic Greek breakfast we will walk to the cliff located a mere 5 minutes above town. Sheltered from the sun until 1 pm we'll enjoy the climbing then stroll back for lunch.
An afternoon adventure awaits for those inclined towards more climbing. Another incredible crag sits just above town and provides afternoon shade, perfect for our second outing of the day.
A well deserved feast await at an enchanting locals spot tucked into a cozy nook on a small walking only street.
Day 4
After another nourishing breakfast we’ll head out for an adventurous day of climbing. A relatively new area means these routes have seen few ascents. With routes up to 6 pitches long, a fun challenge awaits.
For non multipitch enthusiasts an exciting via ferrata leads us down to an epic crag full of tufas, stalactites and the coolest holds imaginable above the Aegean Sea.
Both can be done during our outing for the motivated and this is surely one of the most spectacular climbing venues of the trip.
After climbing we will continue on our journey to the climbing Mecca of Leonidio.
Day 5
Take the morning to explore this historic little town. After an enjoyable stroll we’ll head to another spectacular climbing area and our second opportunity for multipitch climbing. For those wanting to stay closer to the ground incredible crags await.
After a day of climbing high above town well head back down for dinner and enjoy our new home in the heart of Leonidio.
Day 6
Todays outing brings us to amazing tufas that can only be found on European limestone. Savor the unique movement and incredible stone as we make the most of our final day in this climbing paradise. After climbing we’ll make our way past olive orchards and charming coastal villages to the town of Nafplio where we check in to the spectacular Nafplia Palace and enjoy a Greek feast overlooking the Aegean Sea.
Day 7
After breakfast gear up for our final climbing adventure. If you’d prefer to sleep in, simply relax at the hotel and enjoy a leisurely morning in paradise. After we’ve got our fill at the beach crag we’ll return to the hotel to freshen up and make our way back to Athens.

Planning Your Arrival
We will meet at the Four Seasons Athens at 8am on June 4th and walk to the port where our Feretti Yacht will be waiting.
Concluding Your Trip
Our trip will end at 11:00am on the 10th of June, with time to freshen up before departing Nafplio. We will personally escort you back to the Four Seasons Athens, the airport or wherever you prefer to go.
The Peloponnese region is pleasant during the months of May and June, with warm days and cooler evenings. Temperatures for our trip should be highs around the mid 80°’s with night time lows around 70°F. We will climb primarily in the shade with plenty of time to soak up the sun on the beaches as you wish. Despite the high likelyhood of perfect weather its good to prepare for chilly evenings, potential wind and storms with a few good layers. Rain is possible year-round; please remember to bring waterproof breathable rain gear.
