Just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada is the stunning expanse of Red Rocks National Park. Towering over a desert landscape, Red Rocks is famous for adventurous multi-pitch climbing, hosting some of the tallest sandstone cliffs in the world. Feel the fresh breeze as you ride through the Cholla cactus on horseback, walk the ancient trails to the petroglyphs beneath thousand foot cliffs, and cap off your evening with immaculately catered cuisine at our private camp site. The unique combination of adventure, accessibility and world class hospitality makes each day unforgettable.

Climbing

Lead by professional climber Brette Harrington and certified IFMGA climbing guides, we will take you on a tour of the most spectacular cliffs in Red Rocks. The diverse landscape lends itself to many styles of climbing, from traditional crack climbing, multi-pitch and sport climbing. Whether you’ve never climbed before and are ready to delve into the perfect introductory adventure, or you’re a 5.13 climber looking to sample some of the best rock in the world, Ascent Climbing Trips will provide the journey of a lifetime. With 3 experienced guides we will take your on an unforgettable tour across Red Rocks Sandstone and the surrounding limestone cliffs.

Accomodation and Dining

We will begin the trip by immersing ourselves in the Wild West with luxurious camping under the stars. Our private site is located right outside of Red Rocks National Park. All camping gear will be provided, including brand new tents and sleeping arrangements.

Dinners and breakfasts will be prepared by a local caterer as well as a special night at Cowboy Ranch for a western style Barbecue.

Our final night will end with a bang as we travel to the famous Las Vegas Strip. Freshen up at your glamorous hotel room in the Mirage before heading to a fabulous dinner above the city. After a good nights sleep you will be ready to depart the following day with private transport to your flight.

Itinerary

Day 1

We will meet at the Harry Reid Las Vegas Airport at 9:00 am. From here, be ready for a day of crack climbing and traditional style climbing in Red Rocks.

In the evening we will make our way to the Red Rocks campground where we will have a locally catered dinner and settle into our tents beneath the stars.

Day 2

Wake up to a breakfast buffet and head out for a full day of multi-pitch adventure climbing. The red towering walls and green desert floor make for some of the most scenic views of the South West, so be sure to bring your camera!

We will finish up our day with another 5 star catered dinner at our campsite beneath the stars.

Day 3

Start your day with a nourishing breakfast before heading into the wild west of Cowboy canyon. A desert oasis awaits with climbs of all styles and grades. In the evening we will hop into the saddle and take a horsehide though the Joshua trees, and finish up the evening with a BBQ dinner at the Cowboy ranch.

Day 4

Start your morning off with a hearty breakfast before setting off for the final day of climbing. We will be back at the sandstone walls of Red Rocks where we can enjoy the different styles we have practiced throughout the week. After climbing, we will head downtown for a night on the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Day 5

Wake up in Downtown Las Vegas. Enjoy the many amenities at your hotel before private transport to the airport. Check out of the hotel is at 10:00am.

Planning Your Arrival

We will meet at the Harry Reid airport at 10:00 am on September 25th. Further information will be provided upon request.

Concluding Your Trip

Our trip will end after you checkout from the hotel on September 29th. Checkout is at 10:00 am on the 29th. If you have a flight booked out the previous evening we will happily take you to the Las Vegas Airport in our private shuttle. If you would like to extend your stay we have a list of recommended hotels for you to choose from.
